// THE STORY

I'm a technical co-founder who's spent the last 8+ years building products. I've worked everywhere from seed-stage startups to Panera Bread's internal platforms serving 100k+ users a month, and I've founded three companies along the way.

Two were acquired — PocketStreamer and PodcastDb. The third, podanalyst.com, is current. Across them I've built native iOS apps, hybrid mobile platforms, semantic search engines, podcast hosting infrastructure, billing systems, and just about everything in between.

Today I split my time between consulting in San Francisco and co-founding podanalyst.com. Open to one more conversation with the right team.

// PHILOSOPHY

WHAT I BELIEVE.

1. Shipping beats perfect. A working ugly thing beats a beautiful thing that doesn't exist.

2. Performance is a feature. Users feel 7× the speed in ways they can't articulate.

3. Junior devs need real feedback, not tutorials. Train in public.

4. The best tech stack is the one your team actually understands.

5. Most rewrites are a mistake. Most refactors aren't.

6. A senior technical partner writes code. They also help make the calls that aren't about code.

// OFF-CLOCK

When I'm not shipping, I'm usually outside. I mountain bike the Santa Cruz mountains, surf Ocean Beach when the swell is right, and over-engineer my espresso setup. I read mostly sci-fi and history. I have strong opinions about pizza.

🚵 Mountain biking 🏄 Surfing (poorly) ☕ Espresso snobbery 📚 Sci-fi 🍕 Pizza opinions 🪴 Killing houseplants

THAT'S THE STORY.
WANNA WRITE THE NEXT CHAPTER?
