WHAT I'M
DOING
RIGHT NOW.

// WORK

Consulting at Arcessio in San Francisco. ~2 months in — heads-down on a piece of their core platform.

Co-founding podanalyst.com alongside my consulting work — a separate venture.

Open to one more engagement. If you're a seed-to-Series-B founder who wants a senior technical partner — not just a coder-for-hire — email me.

Not currently taking: part-time advisory roles, equity-only deals, or projects that need a yes-man.

// LEARNING

Agentic workflows in production. Not demos — the kind where a process runs for hours and you trust the result. Currently building my opinion on what works.

Postgres at scale. Reading everything I can about partitioning, vector indexing, and pgvector in anger. Boring infrastructure is where I want to live.

TypeScript ergonomics. Trying to be a better TypeScript citizen. Branded types, template literal types, and not over-engineering it.

// OFF-CLOCK

Mountain biking the Santa Cruz mountains on weekends. Trying to get back into shape after a winter of being a couch.

Espresso tinkering. Currently running a Profitec Pro 600 with a single-dose workflow. My puck prep is better than my code review.

Surfing at Ocean Beach when the swell is small enough that I won't die. That's most days.

// NOT DOING

Things I'm intentionally not spending time on, in case you're wondering:

  • × Conference speaking — done it, not currently scheduling
  • × Twitter / X — closed my account
  • × Open source maintainership — contribute, don't maintain
  • × Web3 / blockchain — if that's your thing, elsewhere
  • × "Quick calls" — 30-min scoping calls only, scheduled
